The 1:1 macro capability allows subjects to be reproduced at life-size on the camera sensor. The 60mm focal length also makes the lens useful for portraits and general photography.
Canon’s USM (Ultrasonic Motor) provides fast and accurate autofocus, while the lens produces sharp, high-quality images with excellent detail.
