HOW TO USE (IMPORTANT)

Because this lens has no internal aperture ring, the aperture is adjusted on the adapter, not the lens itself.

Set your camera to Aperture Priority (A/Av), choose your desired aperture using the adapter’s aperture control, and the camera will automatically select the correct shutter speed.

Focus using focus peaking and focus assist — very easy and very accurate.

GENERAL NOTES

The lens has a high-quality all-metal construction and a nice weight to it. All my lenses are kept clean and stored in a dry, temperature-controlled room (dehumidifier on 24/7). Expect the usual tiny speck of dust for a vintage lens, but absolutely nothing that affects image quality.

I use this lens personally on my Sony NEX-7 and Sony A7 full-frame, and it performs beautifully. Legacy lenses have a depth and character modern lenses often lack — slow down a little and enjoy the process.
